About our History >>>
The Pendle Forest or PF for short was founded in
1931 by a small group who worked together at a local Pendle mill. The
club recorded its highest membership in the 1970s with almost 100.
Currently >>>
We have approximately 50 members from in and
around Nelson, Colne and Burnley areas. The club offers something
for everyone interested in cycling, touring, road racing, track racing,
mountain biking and ever popular in the PF time-trialing.

Cycling for fun >>>
The club organises social rides in the evenings and weekends, plus
social events and weekends away throughout the year. Details for
regular clubs runs and forthcoming events can be found in 'whats
on' section of the web site, but are also advertised in the local press.
Racing >>>
The Pendle Forest organise our own weekly time-trial series throught the
racing season. This is ideal for beginners breaking in to the sport. And being a member of
the PF you could also enter any one of the 'open events' held by other
clubs. To enter an open event you must complete a CTT (Cycling Time
Trial) entry form, available from thier web-site www.CTT.org.uk. For more information you can also contact the club secretary who will have a list of open events, go to 'contacts us' page

Forest are affiliated to British Cycling, Cycling Time Trials, North
