About our History >>>
The Pendle Forest or PF for short was founded in 1931 by a small group who worked together at a local Pendle mill. The club recorded its highest membership in the 1970s with almost 100.

Currently >>>
We have approximately 50 members from in and around Nelson, Colne and Burnley areas. The club offers something for everyone interested in cycling, touring, road racing, track racing, mountain biking and ever popular in the PF time-trialing.  Thinking of joining the club? contact the club secretary for furher information and advise, click here to go to 'Contact Us' page.

Cycling for fun >>>
The club organises social rides in the evenings and weekends, plus social events and weekends away throughout the year. Details for regular clubs runs and forthcoming events can be found in 'whats on' section of the web site, but are also advertised in the local press.

Racing >>>
The Pendle Forest organise our own weekly time-trial series throught the racing season. This is ideal for beginners breaking in to the sport. And being a member of the PF you could also enter any one of the 'open events' held by other clubs. To enter an open event you must complete a CTT (Cycling Time Trial) entry form, available from thier web-site www.CTT.org.uk.
